Perioperative Precision Medicine (PPM) is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal dedicated to the rapid publication (quarterly) of research on medicine during perioperative period. It is the official journal of Perioperative Medical Committee of Chinese Medicine Education Association. With the aim to deepen the understanding of the pathogenesis and to promote the development of diagnosis and treatment, PPM provides a platform for clinicians to share their cutting-edge research results in perioperative medicine, hoping to provide a new impetus to the progression of scientific research in perioperative medicine. Articles from experts in this field will offer key insights in the areas of clinical practice, advocacy, education, administration, and research of perioperative precision medicine.

PPM is primarily devoted to publishing high-quality original research papers in all the fields related to perioperative medicine and care. Papers in research fields of human diseases, such as immunology, physiology, pharmacology, epidemiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, medical imaging and medical device science, are all appreciated. Meanwhile, research papers of various disciplines including anesthesiology and perioperative nursing, such as surgery, first aid, critical care medicine, cardiovascular medicine, respiratory medicine, neurology, nutrition, rehabilitation, are also welcomed.

PPM publishes a diverse range of article types, including Research, Review (Mini Review), Case Report, Brief Communication, Letter, Commentary, Perspective, Protocol, and Expert Consensus, covering both clinical and nonclinical aspects of perioperative medicine.
