Metaverse in Medicine is an open access journal. All published articles are freely accessible online and are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) license.
An Article Processing Charge (APC) applies only to manuscripts accepted for publication. There are no submission fees, peer-review charges, or any other additional publication fees.
All Open Access publication fees are fully waived in 2026. All related costs incurred during this period will be fully covered by the Journal Center of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. Authors will not be required to pay any publication fees during this period.
Any updates to the APC or publication fee policy will be announced in a timely manner on the journal's official website.
The APC and fee-waiver policy have no influence on editorial decision-making or the peer-review process.
