3D Printing in Dermatological Drug Delivery: Personalization and Innovation

Abstract

3D printing technology has revolutionized dermatological drug delivery by enabling the fabrication of personalized dosage forms with precise control over drug release and mechanical properties. This review explores the applications of 3D printing in creating microneedles, topical formulations, and implantable devices for targeted therapy. Advances in biomaterials and printing techniques are also discussed, highlighting their potential for personalized dermatotherapy.
