Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder characterized by hyperproliferation of keratinocytes and immune dysregulation. Conventional topical therapies often suffer from poor skin penetration and systemic side effects. Nanotechnology-enhanced formulations, including liposomes, solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs), and polymeric nanoparticles, offer a promising solution by improving drug targeting and bioavailability. This review explores the mechanisms, advantages, and clinical applications of nanocarriers in psoriasis management, highlighting their potential to revolutionize treatment paradigms.
