Stimuli-responsive nanocarriers represent a cutting-edge approach in dermatological drug delivery, enabling site-specific and controlled release of therapeutic agents in response to physiological or external triggers. These systems enhance drug bioavailability while minimizing off-target effects, making them ideal for treating conditions like psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and skin cancer. This review explores the design, mechanisms, and applications of pH-, enzyme-, and temperature-responsive nanocarriers, alongside their potential in personalized dermatotherapy.
