Precision Pharmaceutical Research (PPR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal dedicated to the fast publication of articles concerning the mechanism-based and hypothesis-driven drug discovery, development and analysis. With the aim of promoting the development of precision drug and medicine, PPR provides an international platform for pharmaceutical researchers to share their inspiring research results in individualization- and precision- oriented drug development and analysis.

PPR is primarily devoted to publishing high-quality original research papers in all the fields related to pharmaceutics and precision medicine which include but are not limited to target drugs, drug delivery materials (nanoparticles), formulation engineering and processing, Chinese drug decoction and formulation, computational biopharmaceutics, molecular biopharmaceutics and drug disposition, cellular and molecular pharmacology, pharmaceutical solid materials (including biomaterials and polymers), genetically engineered cell drugs, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacogenetics.

PPR primarily publishes original research contributions, methodological reviews and cases, and also publishes editorials, hypotheses and letters to editors as appropriate. The research may involve nonclinical or clinical studies and may utilize in vivo, ex vivo or in vitro approaches.
