Amoura S. M. Behairy is currently a Professor of Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Majmaah University in Saudi Arabia, and served as the Head of the Nursing Department at the Applied Medical Sciences College of Buraydah Private Colleges from September 2022 to May 2025. She has long been engaged in teaching, research, and administrative work in the field of medical-surgical nursing, with primary research interests including evidence-based nursing practice, nursing informatics, wound care, prevention of intravenous therapy complications, and occupational health of nursing professionals. She obtained her Doctorate in Medical-Surgical Nursing from Menoufia University in Egypt in 2006, a Master’s degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing from the same university in 1999, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Tanta University in 1993.
