Progress in Immunology Research (PIR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal dedicated to the rapid publication of articles about basic, translational and clinical research in immunology. With the aim to deepen the understanding of the defense mechanisms against various causative factors, PIR provides a platform for scientists and clinicians working in different areas of immunology and therapy to share their cutting-edge research results in immunology studies, hoping to give an impetus to the progression of scientific research.
PIR is primarily devoted to publish high-quality original research papers in all the fields related to immunology, including but not limited to adaptive immunity, innate immunity, leukocyte and lymphoid organ ontogeny, molecular immunology and signaling, tissue immunology, leukocyte trafficking, allergy and inflammation, immunity to infection, immunodeficiencies and autoimmunity, transplantation and immunotolerance, immunomodulation and immune therapies, tumor and microbial immunology, immune biomarkers, immune diagnostics, vaccines, and drug development.
PIR primarily publishes original research contributions, methodological reviews and cases, and also publishes editorials, hypotheses and letters to editors as appropriate. The research may involve nonclinical or clinical studies and may utilize in vivo, ex vivo or in vitro approaches.
Please join us in this open-access endeavor by submitting your high-quality papers for publication in PIR.
