Aims and Scope

Precision Cancer Research (PCR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal that seeks to distribute novel discoveries in basic, clinical, and translational science to the readers and specialists in the field of oncology. Articles from experts in this field will offer key insight in the areas of clinical practice, advocacy, education, administration, and research of precision cancer research.



PCR is primarily devoted to publishing high-quality original research papers in various fields related to tumor research which contribute to cancer prevention, early detection, diagnosis, therapy, rehabilitation and amelioration of pain due to cancer. PCR accepts articles relevant to all aspects of cancer research, including disease mechanism, clinical diagnosis and treatments, oncogenes, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, viral oncology and translational research etc., with an aim of advancing the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of this increasingly devastating disease.



PCR primarily publishes original research contributions, methodological reviews and cases, and also publishes editorials, hypotheses and letters to editors as appropriate. The research may involve nonclinical or clinical studies and may utilize in vivo, ex vivo or in vitro approaches.
