Aims and Scope

Orthopaedic Medicine is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal dedicated to publishing the latest progress and novel understanding of orthopaedic research and education. With the aim to improve the quality of orthopedic health care, Orthopaedic Medicine provides a platform for clinicians and researchers to share their cutting-edge research results in all aspects of bone science, hoping to provide a new impetus to the progression of scientific research in orthopaedic medicine. Articles from experts in this field will offer key insights in the areas of clinical practice, advocacy, education, administration, and research of orthopaedic medicine.


Orthopaedic Medicine incorporates 6 characteristic columns, namely, Orthopaedic Education, Orthopedic Technology, Orthopaedic Innovation, Latest Progress, Case Study, and Nursing Care, devoted to publishing high-quality papers in all the fields related to orthopaedic research and education. Specifically, studies on bone biology and physiology, bioengineering, rheumatology, regenerative medicine and orthopaedic education are all appreciated.


Orthopaedic Medicine not only welcomes original research, reviews and cases, but also publishes editorials, hypotheses and letters to editors as appropriate. The research may involve basic or clinical studies.
