Dr. Chen, winner of the Dean Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Project evaluation expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China, is a Big Data Analyst (Senior). At present, more than 40 SCI and EI papers have been published in Briefings in bioinformatics (Top journal), PLoS Computational Biology, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Molecular Therapy-Nucleic Acids (cell sub-journal), Bioinformatics, iScience, BMC genomics, Frontiers in Genetics and other internationally renowned journals. He applied for four national patents (including two invention patents and one utility model), presided over one youth project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and participated in seven scientific research projects (two national key R & D projects). He is also the reviewer of several SCI journals such as Briefings in Bioinformatics (Top journals), Expert Systems With Applications (Top journals), Knowledge-Based Systems (Top journals), Neurocomputing, and the chairman of ICIC2020 International Academic Conference. Members of ICIC2021, ICIC2022 International Academic Conference Procedure Committee and BIBM2023 International Academic Conference Procedure Committee. Google cited 868 times, H index 16, i10 index 23.

Dr. Thomas G. Hedberg is an experienced neuroscientist and neurologist with over 20 years in clinical, clinical pharmacology, and nonclinical regulatory writing/management. He specializes in therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiovascular diseases, CNS disorders, infectious diseases, dermatology, gastroenterology, and women's health.

Dr. Hedberg has a strong background in administrative organization, project management, and planning within the pharmaceutical industry. He has been a medical writing department head, managing teams during IND submissions and publication planning.

He is a member of the American Medical Writers Association and the International Society of Medical Publication Professionals, known for his excellent data interpretation, medical writing skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Educated at Cornell University (BS), Oregon State University (MSc), and Harvard Medical School/Boston University (PhD), Dr. Hedberg is also fluent in multiple languages and proficient in programming languages like C++ and JAVA.

Throughout his career, Dr. Hedberg has held senior positions in medical writing, strategic planning, and regulatory affairs at companies including Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Insmed Pharmaceuticals, Eisai, and Novartis Pharmaceuticals. His work has involved developing and executing medical communication strategies, regulatory document preparation, and managing medical writing projects.

Dr. Hedberg's academic and medical experience includes a visiting professorship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where his research has focused on botulinum neurotoxins for treating intractable epilepsies. He has also published numerous scientific and medical papers across various neurological fields.

Shengeng Tang is a Lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering at Hefei University of Technology in China. He holds a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Computer Application Technology, which he earned from Hefei University of Technology between September 2017 and December 2022. Tang also has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology from Hunan Normal University, obtained from September 2013 to June 2017.

His research interests include multimedia understanding and analysis, cross-media reasoning, computer vision and artificial intelligence, sign language interpretation and production, and multimedia content generation. Tang is actively involved in academic communities and maintains profiles on ORCID, ResearchGate, Google Scholar, and Publons.

Shengeng Tang has been a lecturer at Hefei University of Technology since February 2023. He has contributed to several publications in his field, with his work appearing in conferences such as the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI) and the ACM International Conference on Multimedia (ACM MM), as well as in journals like IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (TMM) and IEEE Transactions on Image Processing (TIP). His research focuses on innovative aspects of multimedia and artificial intelligence, aiming to enhance understanding and analysis across various media forms.

Ph.D., Centre for Smart Health, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China


Dr. Hao Tang is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Smart Health, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China, in 2024. From 2022 to 2024, he was a visiting scholar at Singapore Management University and the Singapore University of Technology and Design, where he conducted two significant research projects.

Dr. Tang's research focuses on Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Medical Image Analysis, with a particular emphasis on fine-grained learning, data-efficient learning, and multi-modal learning. He has authored over 20 technical papers in leading journals and conferences, including three that have been recognized as ESI Highly Cited or Hot Papers. His work has received several accolades, including the Best Paper Award at the Long-Tailed Distribution Learning Workshop (IJCAI 2021) and the Silver Award at the FSL-Based High-speed Railway Catenary Image Detection and Analysis Workshop (ICIG 2021).
