Aims and Scope

Progress in Molecular Biology (PMB) is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal dedicated to the rapid publication of articles about molecular biology. With the aim to deepen the understanding of disease pathogenesis and promote the development of diagnosis and treatment, PMB provides a platform for scientists, clinicians and other practitioners working in different areas to share their cutting-edge research results in molecular biological studies, hoping to boost the progression of scientific research on molecular biology.

PMB is intended to encompass basic findings in mechanisms of disease. The scope of the journal includes all human diseases, including but not limited to: aging, angiogenesis, autoimmune diseases as well as other inflammatory diseases, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, development and differentiation disorders, endocrinology, gastrointestinal diseases and hepatology, genetics and epigenetics, hematology, hypoxia research, immunology, infectious diseases, metabolic disorders, neuroscience of diseases, regenerative medicine, molecular diagnosis and therapy, and stem cell research.

PMB primarily publishes original research contributions, methodological reviews and cases, and also publishes editorials, hypotheses and letters to editors as appropriate. The research may involve nonclinical or clinical studies and may utilize in vivo, ex vivo or in vitro approaches.

Please join us in this open-access endeavor by submitting your high-quality papers for publication in PMB.
